if you don't i'm gonna publish a long argument i had with some rednecks on a yahoo sports article regarding the second amendment. if you don't hate them after this, you are one (i am "trailer people", by the way)

god, you guys are all such rednecks. why should average citizens be allowed to own guns that serve no purpose other than killing people. to hell with average citizens, why should a young male be allowed to own such a weapon. there's a reason that the young male demographic has the highest auto insurance premiums. it's because they're reckless. trusting them with a car is enough, let alone a killing machine like an AK. you people are all ignorant, rednecky trailer trash who chant the words of the second amendment yet can't recite a single word from the rest of the constitution nor the declaration of independence. there's a fact you all should know about the second amendment. it's outdated. it was created for the purpose of maintaining a local militia, which clearly does not exist anymore. it was not created so idiotic, cheap beer drinking, trailer dwelling, nascar watching morons like you guys could get drunk and pop off a few rounds at a stop sign to impress your buddies. the second amendment must be strongly re-worded or edited, but that's not going to happen because half of the country would seceed again. god america is a depressing place sometimes. especially whe you realize that it's full of morons like you all. that's why the rest of the world hates us. thanks guys. sorry for the essay

Why stop there? Why don't we just throw out the entire bill of rights? Or did you mean a wise person such as yourself just go through and throw away the amendments you don't like and edit the other ones to create your idea of the perfect constitution. Honestly it's people like you who make me depressed about this country's future. There is a simple solution to your depression and mine though ... JUST LEAVE! Trust me no one is going to miss you.

P.S. While your gone maybe you can work getting rid of some your prejudices and stereotypes and start excepting different people.

actually david, i live in a big city with about eight million more people than your inbred hick town. and as for small mindedness, who said anything about that. before you pass judgement on me, at least try to understand other beliefs and philosophies of mine. i am actually a very open and flexible person and probably support many of the same political theories and policies that you do, that is if you support any because it's hard to do that if you are sitting on the porch of a trailer all day. But i'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you do have some convictions. there's just one thing i am never flexible or open minded on, and that's guns. why should we be open minded on tools of destruction and murder? makes no sense to me.

michael, you seem to be at least a step above the rest of these gun toting idiots in terms of intelligence and that was a fairly well worded response. but please, base your statement that "i have not read the rest of the constitution either" on something substantive. and in regards to my "geopolitical views", i was born in Texas and lived there for almost 18 years. And in regards to your comments about countries bad-mouthing the US but then crying to us for aid are not entirely wrong, but not even close to spot on. The residents of many of the Scandinavian countries, for example, like to bad mouth the US for many reasons, mainly our gluttonous consumption and our generally moronic population. These countries never cry to us for aid, as they are completely self sufficient as a result of their socialistic public policy regarding nationalized healthcare, education and social services, among other things. In fact, throughout the current global economic downturn, these countries have fared better than the good old U.S of A. I am the farthest thing from a socialist, i just don't believe in guns. And i love america just as much as the next guy, just not the moronic and deluded visions of america that some people have. thanks, have a good day

sorry. i guess you've had one too many bud lights tonight and watched a little too much nascar. here's a proposition, get off the porch of your trailer and learn something about the country you live in and probably profess to love. the fact of the matter is, the second amendment is outdated, whether you or your inbred brother like it or not. so please, instead of trying to think of some one line wise-@#$% remark to a semi-well thought out post, please go learn something about your country. maybe if you had learned a little more in elementary school you wouldn't be working at some crappy factory during the day and drinking s****y beer while watching nascar on the weekends. peace f****r

Apparently you haven't the rest of the constituion either. And your geopolitical views seem to be on the United States winning some sort of popularity contest. As much as foreign citizens and governments bad mouth the United State those same people come to us when they are broke, scared, or suffering. Nothing the United States can do will please those who envy the richness and opportunities we have and frankly we shouldn't care what the rest of the world thinks.
